Operating Instructions & Safety Rules

 ·         Please see equipment for its own list of safety rules – usually located at the entrance of the inflatable.

·         Each ride requires at least 1 adult (18 yrs or older) to supervise and monitor the riders.  Slides & obstacle courses should have 2 adults – 1 for entry of unit and 1 at exit of unit.  At no time should the inflatable be left unattended.

·         NO gum, candy, food, drinks, animals, silly string or sharp objects in or around the ride.

  ·         Jewelry or glasses should be removed prior to entry of unit.

  ·         Shoes are not permitted on ride.  Rider must either be bare footed or with socks.

  ·         Never allow riders to jump in or on ride while partially inflated.

  ·         Keep riders away from the blower at all times.  For safety reasons, riders should not be allowed to run behind the unit where the blower and extension cords are.

  ·         Any rider, who is not following the rules, needs to be removed from the ride.  Please do not be afraid to ask them to leave or speak to the parents.

  ·         Throughout the event, please monitor the securing devices to make sure the unit is still secure.  Rentals that are set up on hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt must be closely watched to prevent their moving.  If the equipment moves, damage or staining may occur on the bottom of the unit.

  ·         Ride must be turned off in high winds or storms of anything higher than 20-25 mph.  If ride must be turned off due to bad weather, make sure ride is cleared first then turn off the blower by turning off the switch on front of blower then unplug cord from outlet.

  ·         If the ride begins to deflate, Lessee will immediately have the riders exit the ride and then check for one of the following conditions: 1) The motor has stopped; in which case check the power cord connection at the outlet where the ride plugs into the house to make sure that is has not been unplugged or tampered with.  You may need to also check the circuit breaker; 2) If motor continues to run, check the blockage of the air intake screen on the side of the blower unit.  Also, check both air tubes on the back of the unit for snugness and tighten the ties if necessary; 3) If either of these steps corrects the problem, fully re-inflate the ride prior to permitting anyone to use the unit. 4) If you cannot correct the problem, call our office at 727-385-3025.

  Emergency Procedures

If for any reason the Jumper should begin to deflate while there are children inside, just stay calm and assist the children out a quickly as possible. It takes 30 to 45 seconds for the Jumper to deflate. In the event the Jumper does deflate and there is a person still inside, all units have two emergency exit flaps. These flaps are located on the top of the Jumper so that there person can exit safely.

If deflation does occur unexpectedly check to see if the Jumper has accidentally been unplugged or the blower switch has been turned in the OFF position. As soon as the issue has been corrected the Jumper will re-inflate
